Preschool

Preschool, 2 – 4 years old

In preschool, learners play and interact with each other, gain skills that ultimately help them learn to read, write, build their math and science skills and prepare them for kindergarten. Preschool learners begin with phonograms that provide the building blocks for reading and language.

We believe that everything we expose our learners to impacts their world. Our Life Skills curriculum specifically focuses on topics such as trustworthiness,  fairness, working out conflicts, appreciation of one’s self, & understanding personal feelings. The curriculum designed for each level focuses on the needs of the learners not just momentarily but throughout their early education years. While exposing our learners to a wide variety of materials and experiences, our  resources focus on growth in the following areas:

Field Trip Programs

Educational & exploratory programs have been an integral part of our curriculum at The Anchored School. They have a positive, lasting impact on learners’ education and career. Enriching field trips help to keep our children more engaged, intellectually curious, and interested in and out of the classroom. Real world exploration outside the classroom helps bolster a child’s critical thinking skills. They also build independence as well and provide children with unique opportunities.
